CEO of Pribet Group of Companies appointed Consular of Guinea-Bissau
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Pribet Group of Companies, Mr. Prince Lamptey Tetteh as Ghana’s Consular to Guinea-Bissau.
Mr. Prince Lamptey Tetteh’s Pribet group of companies is a multi-disciplinary construction and general merchant business firm with expertise in building /civil engineering, security services, multimedia, energy production, importation of fuel, Agriculture Technology and ICT solutions with branches in Europe and Africa.
In an interview on his appointment as Ghana’s Consular to Guinea Bissau, Mr. Prince Lamptey Tetteh disclosed that the President of Guinea-Bissau, His Excellency Umaro Sissoco Embalo personally made a recommendation to Nana Akufo-Addo to appoint him as his representative in Guinea-Bissau.
According to him, President Umaro Embalo told Nana Akufo-Addo that, Prince Lamptey Tetteh is a great foreigner in the country, who is very influential, particularly in business and trade, adding that his Pribet Group of Company is the local partner for Karpower; providing electricity for the whole of Guinea-Bissau.
He said, the recommendation by the President of Guinea-Bissau is a great honour and a challenge to him, however, he will do his possible best to live up to the expectation of the two countries.
Prince Lamptey Tetteh further indicated that he will coordinate the activities of Ghanaians and that of Guinea-Bissau, particularly in education and trade to have a stronger bond amongst the two countries.
According to him, the promotion of Made-in-Ghana goods in Guinea-Bissau will take the centre stage in his administration, for Ghana to benefit in terms of export for more foreign income.
